Dusit Talai Resort, Nong Nam Daeng

We arrived at the resort without a prior booking, which felt a little awkward at first since the staff didn't speak much English and our Thai was a bit rusty. Thankfully, they were incredibly friendly and after a quick call to the owner, we were shown to a lovely chalet. The surroundings are peaceful and secure, though a bit isolated. We ended up staying for two nights, which allowed us to unwind a bit. The breakfasts were decent, with a unique Thai twist on western-style food, but don't expect a lavish feast. Overall, this place is a quiet haven, though it might not cater to everyone's tastes.
